It happened to be in Zagreb and stepped into the Divinity perfumery. The small niche perfumery in the most beautiful Zagreb passage "Hunter's horn" was full of customers, and the saleswoman and owner presented her offer with passion. She knows! She walked the talk. From the choice of perfumes to the sale style - we were delighted.
Although we did not manage to get our turn to dedicate ourselves to it, this experience was left hanging in the air for us along with the scent of Gladiator Sora Dora (the perfume that every woman wants a man to smell like). When we wanted to find out which perfumes to recommend this spring, we thought of contacting passionate owner of the perfumery Katarina Klobucar. Before we got on the title, we was curious about her.

As a big fan of perfumes, but also their reviewer, Ms Klobucar, with MA in Economy and Business, noticed that market lacks a large number of quality niche brands. It was precisely this gap that was the main motive for deciding to bring them to Croatia and introduce them closer to everyone who shares the same passion.
Before that Katarina started the YouTube channel Purple and Mint in 2016. out of a desire to share her passion for cosmetics and trying new products. At first, the focus was on skincare and make-up, and in 2022, she decided to share her love of perfumes with her followers, which has gradually become a central part of her content.
"What makes this industry particularly interesting is the increasing interest in niche perfumes, which also brings more competition. However, I see this as a positive thing because at the same time, awareness and interest of customers in quality and unique fragrances are growing. But in general, as a business owner in niche I am very satisfied working with the wonderful people, and customers she called "truly special", told us Katarina.
We have asked her in basic direction "how to buy the right scent for Yourself:
"One of the most common mistakes is buying without first trying it on your skin. Perfume needs at least 30 minutes to develop, and impulsive buying often does not give the best results. Proper storage of perfume is also important, avoiding humidity (like the bathroom) and direct light. The ideal place is a dark and stable environment, like a closet, where there are no major temperature changes," says Katarina.
Customers often ask which perfume is the best-selling or the longest-lasting, but owner of the Divinity think it is much more important to discover which notes and scents a person really likes.
"Perfume is an extension of our personality and can strongly influence how we feel. That is why it is very important to choose a perfume that we will really enjoy and that we will be happy to wear. Gourmand perfumes, “edible”, warm and sweet, as well as scents that exude purity and freshness, are very popular, " concludes Katarina Klobucar.
And finally, these are 5 niche perfumes that Katarina recommends for spring, and they will suit every nose:
